Police cut outs are designed to endure outdoor conditions. and mount to any existing pole. Images use color fast ink imaged to vinyl. Forty (40”) inch double sided hook and loop straps are included with each cut out to quickly wrap around any pole including telephone poles. The straps are attached to metal strap binding clamps on the back of the cut out. Permanent, secure mounting, is made by using standard 3/4” metal binding straps. These are the same metal straps that attach traffic signs and other pole mounted signals.

In addition to the hook and loop straps, two 1/4”-20 threaded, insert nuts are attached to each cut out. Also included are 4”, 1/4”-20 threaded bolts with wingnuts to attach to any 1” square, 2” square, or “U” channel post with standard 1” hole centers. The bolts are threaded into the insert nuts and tightened by the wing nuts. Each bolt has a slot head. Each cut out is backed to retard wind loading damage to the cut out. Cut outs have been designed by a company with decades of experience in school zone products and by former teachers.
